A LITTLE ABOUT "THE WALKER"
Samuel Giacopazzi, the Founder of Barking Good Walks, moved to San Mateo in 2013 with his wife Monica and his two cats. He has more than 20 years of experience working with all types of animals; from domestic cats and dogs, reptiles and exotic birds - to pet goats, pigs, chickens, and donkeys.
Sam was a sou chef at Maitri Compassionate Care, a nonprofit AIDS hospice, for over 10 years before he decided to pursue his dream of working with animals. He officially opened his business in 2017 as a dog walker and pet sitter for animal lovers with busy work schedules, and for the occasional family vacation. The experience and passion he has for all animals shows through his interaction and loving disposition.
From his previous career, Sam holds a bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts from the California Culinary Academy.
When he is not at work, Sam enjoys weekend getaways with his wife and spending time with his friends, family, and his cats.

I will miss your loud eccentric meows and the way you had to be the only one that sat on my lap when I watched you and your siblings. Your tiny, yet dominating, presence will be missed.
